Demonstration | Shu NAKAGAWA [CHASE THE TAIL / pre-effects and after-shots]


I will cooperate with the participant to shoot moving images using cameras produced in keeping with the notions below.
1. The reason why animals’ various behaviors which had been unknown are now discovered is because the number of moving images taken worldwide growing tremendously.
2. The lens has no specific direction, therefore the image is projected not only behind it (the photographer’s side) but also in front (the subject’s side).
3. “Why does human put things on a desk but not on a roof?”, said a pet dog looking up at the backsides of its owner’s chair and desk.

Shu NAKAGAWA
Born in 1980 in Kochi Prefecture, Japan. Lives and works in Tokyo since 2006. While exhibiting art works continuously, also involved in various documentations such as art exhibitions, architectures, and archeological resources.
